Absorbtion:
Fractionated Coconut Oil will produce a barrier on the skin, but unlike virgin coconut oil will not clog pores (non-comedogenic).
Consistency:
Thinner than most carrier oils.
Cautions:
Although unlikely because of the heat processing, allergic reaction to this oil is a possibility. Check with your doctor if in doubt.
Almond (Virgin, Sweet) Carrier Oil

Aromatic Scent:
Sweet Almond carrier oil has very little scent, characteristic of most carrier oils.

Cautions:
Made from almonds (a tree nut). Although our expert states skin reactions to nut oils are rare, those with nut allergies should consult their medical practitioner before coming into contact with sweet almond oil. Massage therapists: note that this oil may stain linens.
Sweet Almond carrier oil is an excellent emollient which softens and reconditions the skin. It penetrates easily and can soothe dry, irritated areas. Excellent for all skin types.
Well suited as a carrier oil for aromatherapy blends. Also useful as a bath or massage oil; excellent addition to lotion bars, sugar or salt scrubs and balms.

Jojoba (golden) carrier oil creates a skin barrier but will leave a satiny finish.

The golden variety of Jojoba may alter color and odors in cosmetic preparations.
GMO-free Jojoba (golden) is our favorite carrier “oil”, but Jojoba is not actually an oil but a liquid wax. It closely resembles the natural sebum (oil) of our own skin and is rich in vitamin E.
Because of its extend shelf life, Jojoba (golden) carrier oil can be added to other carrier oils in order to extend their shelf life. It has become a very popular carrier in the cosmetic and aromatherapy industries because of its excellent skin care properties.

Grapeseed carrier oil is cold pressed and then refined to produce a light yellow-green colored oil that is popular in cosmetics manufacturing. This versatile oil contains numerous essential fatty acids; its rich, silky texture is perfect for soothing away dryness and irritation. Grapeseed is non-comedogenic (won't clog pores or cause break-outs) and is therefore suitable for all skin types.
Grapeseed Oil is extremely popular in skincare formulations for creams and lotions and as a carrier oil in aromatherapy. It is the preferred carrier oil for many massage therapists (if they do not use lotion) because of its light, satin like finish. It also has some astringent qualities and is good for oily skin.
